Orifice Plates

  • Restricting Plate

Orifice plates or restricting plates are used for measuring flow rates by restricting flow through the orifice in the middle of the blind. That precise orifice size causes a consistent pressure drop that can be measured with gauges. Orifice plates are sized for specific applications and can be machined per any specification. Delta’s orifice plates typically have a hole in the handle for tagging.
